Our CSR commitments
The constrained and controlled world of contamination control requires the use of single-use products. It is in this context that Conformat, an expert and historic French leader in this sector, has been committed since 2018 to concrete objectives in favour of sustainable development.In 2021, our actions in favour of a more responsible world led us to obtain the EcoVadis silver medal - top 25% of companies in this sector assessed.
In 2022, we are continuing our CSR commitments.
Committed to the environment
At Conformat, we are pursuing an ambitious environmental policy to reduce our carbon footprint. It is based on 5 levers:
We encourage and support our suppliers to develop a responsible approach, in particularin accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.
Internally, we optimise our transport as much as possible and have launched a global review of logistics flows and waste reduction.
For example, we have decided to replace new pallets with first choice pallets, in line with the cleanliness criteria demanded by our customers.
In addition, whenever possible, we give priority to "made in France and Europe" and to local supply channels.
Our employees are also committed on a daily basis to reducing energy consumption of all kinds and to recycling, with, among others, a partnership with the Joyeux Recycleurs..
Acting for others
We believe that everything we do should be of benefit to society. We defend human and social values. In this respect, Conformat is a member of the Sustainable Development Commission of its trade association, the UFCC, and participates in the "Destination RSE" programme with Pacte PME.
Because we are keen to move forward in a responsible and inclusive world, we offer our employees the opportunity to take part in committed initiatives. For example, in the form of donations to the Red Cross with solidarity gifts (Christmas parcels) or school equipment.
We also support employees in solidarity sports events, such as the Odysséa and the Course des Lumières to support the fight against cancer, the Rueil-Malmaison inter-company Special Olympic Challenge to offer people with mental disabilities the opportunity to develop through sport, etc.
We also promote biodiversity by funding and building nesting boxes for nocturnal birds of prey in the Yvelines region. 5 nesting boxes were built by our employees in partnership with the Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux Ile de France GLEY.
We also promote inclusion and diversity through partnerships with Etablissements et Services d'Aide par le Travail (ESAT) and Etablissements Adaptés (EA) to encourage the integration of people with disabilities into the world of work.
We also support young people in their career development through the 100 Chances 100 Jobs scheme near our head office in Rueil-Malmaison.
Developing a trusting society
We conduct our business with soundness and integrity, in accordance with our ethics charter, to fight against discrimination, harassment and corruption.
We take advantage of teambuilding to maintain team cohesion, while including values that are dear to us (respect for labour law, biodiversity, inclusion, etc.).
Encouraging employee skills
Conformat supports its employees in developing their skills and new ways of working.
There are 2 compulsory training courses:
- White Room, to ensure that we have a sound knowledge of our business sector and are able to meet our customers' needs
- Quality, to learn about processes, standards and current requirements
Other professional training courses are also available, focusing on the expertise of each individual, but also collectively to encourage team spirit and mutual support. All our actions are integrated into a dedicated process to ensure continuous improvement and monitoring of our action plan.
Conformat has a mature Quality system, ISO 9001 certified since 2012 and audited without deviation for 4 years.
