Wearing a protective suit of the Tyvek® type is essential in a clean rooms due to the increased sensitivity of this type of room to particles. It is an effective way to protect workers against exposure to hazardous chemicals and organic elements (asbestos, lead, mould, etc.), as well as to minimise the risk of contamination.
A Tyvek® suit is manufactured from solid and continuous fibres of high-density polyethylene. This material contains no substances that may present a risk of contamination in clean rooms. It produces almost no lint and is halogen-free. Its level of resistance to particles can reach one micron. It thus provides an excellent barrier against many chemicals hazardous to health and against biological risks.
It remains impermeable to water molecules and fine particles. Combining softness and lightness, this material is breathable, which allows air and steam to escape while remaining dry whatever the weather conditions. These properties give this suit unrivalled comfort.
